Uno-ko: A visit to Koraku-en
Garden in Okayama and then on to Kurashiki

Today,
we were back on the main island of Honshu, at the port of Uno-ko. |
Some
people elected to go to Naoshima and visit the art museum. |
We chose
more gardens instead and were taken by coach to the city of Okayama. |

After
visiting the garden, we drove to Kurashiki , where we had another
lovely lunch at a hotel. |

After lunch, we strolled
into the preserved area of Kurashiki. It reminded us of
the Higashi Geisha district in Kanazawa, but seemed to be
more extensive and with more shopping opportunities! |
