We sailed overnight from
Marstrand and arrived in Copenhagen early in
the morning. As we had visited Copenhagen before,
we decided not to go on the organised city tour,
but to do our own walking tour and visit a couple
of art galleries. |

|
|
Our first stop, very close
to where our ship was docked, was Copenhagen's famous "Little
Mermaid". |

After our cultural morning,
we walked the few blocks into the central shopping area
of the city, which was very busy indeed! |
|
There was a nice cafe in the Royal Copenhagen
shop, where we bumped into fellow travellers Carol & Geoff,
so we stopped for light snack. |

"The World" -
On this ship, you can buy your suite and cruise forever! |
|
We concluded that we preferred
the Island Sky! |
|
|
|
|
Back on board, we discovered a bottle
of champagne in our cabin (courtesy of the
ship's management) and a special elephant creation
by Elisa, our cabin attendant,
both in recognition of Bruce's birthday.
Also, a note asking Bruce to let reception know
if he didn't want a presentation
in the dining room later.... he moved quickly to
the reception desk!
|
|
|
After dinner, Bruce got
a bit carried away taking photos of the sunset as we sailed
away from Copenhagen! |
