A rather splendid Swan
Necked Aloe from the shower room window. |

Dinner at the villa
once again this evening, preceded by drinks outside. We
had bought the fried egg crisps on our shopping trip to
Superdino this morning. With a little imagination, you could
taste the egg. "7/10 - quite nice" was Geoff's
verdict. The Anna de Codorniu was our favourite cava. |

Wednesday.
|
In the morning, we walked
in a straight line down to the old town and then walked
along the shore towards the town centre. We hadn't done
this walk before and it proved to be rather pleasant. |

In the evening we visited
the Mardeleva Restaurant in the old town. It is set quite
high up, overlooking the harbour. |

The meal was lovely
and, combined with the view, we had a memorable evening.
It was the first time we’d had barracuda - but not
the last! |

No sooner had we started
eating than we had two or three little visitors popping
up from the slope below us. They were rewarded with a few
morsels, but we weren't giving them any more than that! |

Looking down, we saw
some people feeding the small colony of cats. We hoped that
they were regular feeders. |

Our holiday was nearing
an end, but if we'd had more time, we'd definitely have
come back to this restaurant. |
