Lunch today was a barbeque,
served at the back of deck 5. A nice idea, which was repeated
several times as we approached warmer climes, but the ship
isn't really geared up for al-fresco dining. There isn't
really enough space to accommodate all of the passengers
on this deck. Trestle tables are set up with hard, narrow
benches, which would be alright if they weren't so close
to the people behind. The result is that your back has to
become very friendly with somebody else's back, with neither
being comfortable. After the first experience, I tended
to choose my food and then go back to my cabin, or sit in
the lounge to eat it. |
