Our day began with a dawn
breakfast at the rooftop restaurant where we had eaten dinner
the
previous evening. We were one of the first people to arrive,
so we got one of the best tables! |

Our guide was excellent.
There were a number of quite learned people in our group,
including two professors. She gracefully allowed them to
elaborate on many of the exhibits, whilst ensuring that
we kept more or less to the schedule. |

At the end of the visit
to the Archealogical museum,
we got back on the coach and went on to the Agora. |

At lunchtime, we returned
to the hotel, where we sat for a couple of
hours waiting for our transfer to the port of Piraeus and
the start of the cruise.
It was clearly a big logistical exercise for the local agent
but was a little bit tedious for us! |
