After spending a week in
Benoni, we flew to George and then drove to Knysna, where
we had a very self-indulgent three night stay. |
|
The Kulula flight from Johanesburg
was very pleasant and we were soon in George. |

The townships near George
are in stark contrast to the luxury of the Amanzi

Our first meal was at Daniela's
restaurant at Leisure
Isle Lodge, a pleasant walk from where we were staying.
The food was excellent. |

The sun shone brilliantly
on the day after we arrived.
Mojo, the owner's dog, waited patiently over the road in
the hopes of someone taking her for walk.
She was not to be disappointed. |
|
We decided to make the most
of the perfect weather and walk the four kilometre circumference
of Leisure Island. |

The second day was even

but we had other plans today. |

Sunday afternoon got hotter
and hotter.
We decided to go back to the air-conditioned luxury of our
suite and just people watch, with the help of a few long
cold drinks. |

On Monday, we made our way
back to George for our return flight to Johannesburg. It
had been a deeply relaxing few days. |
