Day return from
Kandersteg to Bern
We didn't follow any
of the suggestions. Instead, we took the train to Bern and had a
lovely day there. |

For the first half of the hour long journey, we were the only ones
in the carriage! |

Bern Minster |
After visiting the Minster, Bruce decided
to climb the bell tower, which is open to the public for
a small fee (5F). The lower viewing platform requires a
climb of 254 steps. Not content with that, he then climbed
a further 90 steps to the upper spire! |
