Ros and Adrian went
off to do a guided walk. We decided to simply stroll and see things
for ourselves at our own pace. |

The Cathedral. We were
treated to an impromptu organ recital which was lovely. Geoff took
this short video. |

Railway enthusiasts
will spot that Chur station has mixed guage trains! |

After all that, Bruce
wanted to try that chocolaterie he had spotted yesterday as we got
off the train. |

A couple of hours later, we were ready
to eat again! Dinner had not been arranged for us this evening,
so we got a recommendation and went with it. Here is the
restaurant we went to (photo taken the next day). |

We enjoyed the evening and the traditional
Swiss meal. We got chatting to a group of "foodie"
diners at the adjacent table, because they were really enjoying
their meal too; an even more traditionally seasonal Swiss
dining experience of Venison. As we were leaving, one of
the men gave us his business card. It turned out that he
owned the bakery at the station and on the back he had written
an instruction to his staff to given us free coffees the
next day! We were very pleased, as it would give us a good
start to our train journey in the morning. |
