We had a wonderful time in New Zealand. We arrived in Christchurch and travelled around the South Island in our hired Holden Vectra, staying in delightful B&B's in Tekapo, Queenstown, Dunedin, Invercargill, Te Anau, Wanaka, Franz Josef Glacier and Greymouth, before taking a train across the Southern Alps back to Christchurch. From there, another train to Picton, where we hired another car and toured the area, then took a ferry to Wellington on the North Island.

From Wellington, we hired another Holden (bright red!) and drove up to Napier, then on to Lake Taupo, Auckland, Keri Keri and fnally back to Auckland for three nights before leaving for San Francisco.
