above pretty much tallies with our experience of the holiday.
We have probably been really spoilt with previous holidays
from the same operator, especially last year's cruise on
the Island Sky around Sicily and on to Istanbul. This holiday
would have had to be near perfect in all respects to beat
that one and it didn't quite reach the same standards. Nevertheless,
we did enjoy it very much and met some very nice people.
It was a lovely surprise to meet up with Anne and John again.
We first met them on a tour of China in 1999 and hadn't
seen or heard from them for nineteen years! We also enjoyed
the company of Helen, Richard, Sylvia, Carolyn and John
and many others that we chatted to regularly. |
