One minute we were an hour off of Bonifacio, the next the Captain was announcing that there was a huge
storm coming our way and we were taking evasive action and heading to Palma, Majorca, one day early.

So we had a day at sea.
It was, nevertheless... lively, is the right word, I think. Whilst we avoided the storm force 10-12 gales,
we did meet the force 7-8 winds and the sea was pretty rough and we were rockin' and a-rollin'.
Surprisingly, it was still sunny, and warm if you found a sheltered spot.

Reception handed out seasickness tablets which were amazingly effective, and so we passed the time reading and waiting for the next meal.
