On our third full day, we took a bus to the outskirts of
the city to visit the Seurasaari Open Air Museum. We were
there too early, because the museum only opened at 11.00
a.m, so we spent over an hour exploring an almost deserted
site, seeing loads of tame wildlife in the process. Once
all of the exhibits had opened we began the tour properly
and spent another few hours there. It was all very interesting. |

Red squirrels were everywhere,
tame and very cheeky, as was that seagull perched on the
lamp post. As soon as we left the table it swooped down
and pecked at the remains of Bruce's chocolate cake! We
also saw a few hares very fleetingly and many other birds. |
