In October 2008, we spent a week in Cornwall. |
We stayed in Padstow for
a couple of nights, followed by five nights in and around
St. Ives.
The weather started off a little wet, but became lovely
and warm as the week progressed. |
We stayed at St. Petroc's
hotel. |
From our window, there were
some good views of the harbour area. |
We went to Prideaux
Place and spent some time walking around the grounds |

Later that afternoon, we
walked along the Camel Trail for a couple of miles. From
the old railway bridge we saw a man digging for something.
We met him later when we were walking back and saw the results
of his dig... a bucket of worms for bait. |

A glass of champagne at
our hotel before setting off to the Seafood Restaurant. |

Geoff really enjoyed his
seafood starter and we both had turbot for our main course.
It was excellent. |
